In order stem the spread of Covid-19 Santa Clara County health officials have ordered businesses to close their break rooms to gathering and eating.
Employees can use break rooms to only use appliances, and to access refrigerators. Officials even go as far as suggesting that employees eat only in their cars, citing the fact that “eating indoors in a break room is one of the highest-risk activities during the pandemic”.
