It’s a fact that all movie theaters and theater chains are struggling these days. But the AMC chain just got some good news.
AMC CEO Adam Aron announced that they’d just received $917 million in funding, which should see them through this winter and the rest of 2021 as well. He said: “We will have enough cash to make it all the way through all of 2021 based on a very detailed set of assumptions.”
Now the big questions: When will theaters reopen, when will movie buffs feel comfortable about going back into the theaters, and when will theater employees be hired back?
