Oakland Airport is the very FIRST in the US to sell COVID tests out of a vending machine!
Travelers buy the kit, then FedEx the saliva sample to the lab. Within 24 hours they’ll get the results on a phone app. The kits are a bit pricey…$130-$150. But if you’re in a hurry to leave town for whatever reason, they’ll come in pretty handy.
Back in October, OAK offered free rapid testing for airport employees, and the public. But the tests are no longer free.
