How do you feel about a dedicated bike lane on the Bay Bridge that would allow you to bike from Oakland to San Francisco non-stop?
Well, that was the idea when the new section of the Bay Bridge was completed. But when the eastern span was finished, the bike path only stretched from Oakland to Yerba Buena Island.
As of now, the MTC and Caltrans are lukewarm on the idea of completing the bike path to San Francisco. The project would take about a year and $10 million to finish.
