Here's How Some South Bay Teens Decided To Spend Their Pandemic Spare Time

A group of teens in the South Bay are making great use of their time in the South Bay.

The group calls themselves SAMP, which means “unity” in Gujarati. SAMP founder Rajvee Patel says that their goal is to spread unity through a variety of community projects. One of their past projects was called “home for the holidays”. They raised money to deliver aid to local homeless shelters by creating packages that included hand sanitizer, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. They also sent thank you cards to local frontline healthcare workers.

If you’d like more information about their programs, and to donate, you can find that here.
