Bay Area Artist Draws Dogs On Post-It Notes With Proceeds Going To Charity

Castro Valley resident Ed Attanasio lost his day job at the beginning of the pandemic and found himself giving back to animals and shelters in the Bay Area (and nationwide) as a result. Ed started the "Pandemic Pet Project," an art campaign designed to raise money for animal shelters around the world.

Here's how it works. You send Ed a photo of your pet. He draws your pet on a 3x3 Post-It Note and sends it to you in the mail. You then take a photo of your pet with his completed drawing and post it on The Pandemic Pet Project's Facebook page and then make a minimum $50 donation to an animal rescue organization.

Ed does all of this for free, although he said that 3M (who makes Post-It Notes) is considering sponsoring him.
