Jason Schweitzer has been going to the same Toronto Kentucky Fried Chicken store since he was five, and “Emilia” was the one who usually served Jason and his mom their weekly Sunday dinner at the store. Emilia would give Jason a handful of fries while their order was prepared. 50 years later, 70-year-old Emilia is still behind the counter, and Jason wanted to do something nice for her.
To make sure Emilia had transportation, rent, PPE and some savings in the bank, Jason set up a GoFundMe for Emilia. So far more than $25,000 has been raised for her!
