Debbie Campbell’s French bulldog, Brody managed to escape from her San Lorenzo home on February 3rd.
Debbie looked all over social media for any sign of Brody but no luck. But last week, she got a call from Mexico, and the caller, Benjamin Gonzalez, said that he located Brody in Tijuana…..600 miles away. It’s not clear how Brody ended up in Mexico, but he did.
Gonzalez said that he purchased Brody on the street in Mexico for $1000, even though Brody was selling for $2000 , and had no idea he was a stolen dog.
It wasn’t until Gonzalez’s family in the Bay Area saw photos of Brody until all the pieces started to fall together.
