More people getting vaccinated means more opportunities to get out an about.
The CDC announced that vaccinated Americans can get together with other vaccinated people indoors without social distancing, and without a mask. But the CDC is still urging everyone, vaccination or not, to wear a mask, social distance while in public, and avoid large crowds. The reason? Vaccinated people may not get sick, but they can still carry and spread the virus.
People are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after getting the last required dose of vaccine. About 31 million Americans have been vaccinated so far.
