Netflix is cracking down on password sharing.
The streaming giant is sending pop-up messages to people they THINK might be watching through someone else’s account: “If you don’t live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching”.
If you get one of those messages, Netflix will tell you to verify the account with a text code or email. If you don’t, you’ll need to create a new account with a free 30 day trial. Netflix rules state that only users in the same household can share a password/account.
