One of the few GOOD things to come out of the pandemic is that it’s making people feel the urge to help the people around them. To satisfy that urge more and more people are turning to volunteering to help out their communities. A survey of 2,000 people has revealed that more than half are volunteering during the pandemic.
52% are volunteering in their communities for the very first time as a result of the pandemic. 35% of the volunteers deliver food to essential workers. 26% help the elderly, and 20% work in food pantries.
