So, what will be the future of the Salesforce Tower be once people start going back to work?
Construction on the tower began 2013 as part of the new Transbay Terminal complex in San Francisco, and built to stand for at least 200 years. It created 714,000 square feet of office space for Salesforce employees and other tenants. But because of the pandemic, many of the people who once occupied that space began to work at home, and will not be returning to the tower.
