A North Bay community is experiencing an unusual animal invasion.
Petaluma, and especially Cotati, are experiencing a spike in rooster invasions. It can’t be explained, and humans are trying to cope with roosters taking over the neighborhood. The residents don’t know what to make of it. The birds can be a nuisance, but the townsfolk are also loving having them around. The roosters stroll an area near Old Redwood and Gravenstein Way.
One resident said that the roosters will serenade you while you’re pumping gas, or even keep you company while you wait for prescriptions at a drive-through pharmacy.
One resident, even though he loves, the roosters, complains that they do “poop all over the place.”
Yeah. There’s that.
