The pandemic has created a shortage of…..ketchup packets.
Because we’re doing more take out these days, and concerns over the safety of sharing bottles and dispensers, there’s a much higher demand for single serve ketchup.
Heinz, which controls about 70% of the ketchup market, is doing everything possible to increase production by at least 25%. That would bring the total up to 12 billion packets a year.
