Ever get a song stuck in your head, and it just stays there forever? It’s called an earworm, and here’s a way to get rid of it. In fact 92% of all adults have a song stuck in their heads.
Chewing gum is a start, according to Australian scientist Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki. Pop a stick in your mouth, and that earworm will probably go away. The doctor said that our brains are “pre wired to embrace music.”
He goes on to say that Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" is one of the most successful earworms.
