Things are starting to slowly return to normal with Muni.
Part of the transit system will be back on line later this week, with Muni Metro service returning to the Market Street Subway this coming Saturday.
In April of 2020, Muni cut back its service to 45% of what it was before the pandemic hit. Right now service is at 70%, and Muni hopes to restore 85% of its service by January.
The cable cars will be back in service sometime this fall, as operators will need to be recertified.
