Here we go again.
It’s an early start to the fire season with red flag warnings in Northern California. Red flag warnings are unusual this early in the year. But thanks to below average water levels and the drought, the larger fires we normally see in Northern California in August and September could get here as early as July.
Jonathan Cox with Cal Fire said that the extended red flag warning “means we expect more fires, we expect increased staffing on duty”.
