Saginaw School District’s prom, like so many others, was cancelled last year. Ramont Roberts, Saginaw Schools Superintendent, wasn’t about to let this years’ prom go by the wayside.
He set out to pay the half the cost of this year’s prom tickets. He released funds from the district’s budget to do exactly that.
The proms held in the district so far have been held outside with masks and separated into groups of six.
