If you ride AC Transit on a regular basis, you’ll be able to be a little more neighborly.
Like just about everyone, the transit agency mandated a six foot social distancing requirement. That took effect in March of 2020. Now AC transit has reduced that space requirement to three feet. That means that AC busses will be able to seat between 20 and 48 riders instead of between 6 and 24 riders.
Riders in the same household will not need to observe social distancing requirements.
