There ARE things you can still do to cut back on water usage.

The good news is, we’re all doing a great job of cutting back when it comes to our personal water use, thanks to low-flow toilets and shower heads, water efficient washing machines and dish washers and turning off the water while we’re brushing our teeth.

Taking a 5-minute shower instead of a 10-minute shower can save 25 gallons!

One area that can use improvement is outdoor water usage. Reducing outdoor watering can have a pretty big impact on H2O consumption. Replacing your lawn with drought tolerant plants will reduce your water consumption by a HUGE margin. Making sure your veggie boxes aren’t getting over watered will make a big difference as well.
