The pandemic resulted in, among other things, a drastic drop in Girl Scout cookie sales.

In fact, there are 15 million boxes of unsold cookies. Part of the shortfall is due to the fact that the scouts were reluctant to set up their traditional cookie booths. Lots of scouts decided not to sell cookies in person.

The scouts normally sell about 200 million boxes in a year. That would be about $800 million worth.
