Toni Wilson-Taylor’s son passed away five years ago, but she still planned a “birthday surprise” for his birthday in May. A surprise that thousands of people noticed.
She woke up on what would have been her late son , Tyler’s, May 16th birthday, and planned to buy a birthday cake for a complete stranger. She called a local baker, and arranged to pay for a local woman’s cake that was on order at the bakery.
Toni asked the baker to include this note: “Today is my son’s 35th birthday, his 5th one in heaven,” reads the note, as seen in Mick’s post. “In his memory, I’ve paid for your cake. Please enjoy, make special memories and hug your children and loved ones tight.”
The woman who picked up the cake, Carolyn Mick, shared the note on social media where thousands saw it.
