Here's One Thing You Need To Do BEFORE Booking An Overseas Vacation

So, you’ve got your bags packed, reservations made, how about that passport?

This makes the case for making sure you have your passport in hand BEFORE you book ANYTHING for your next overseas vacation.

Normally passport applications can take as little as 6 weeks to process. Now, according to the State Department, the whole process can take up to 18 weeks. Applicants can pay $60 more for “expedited” applications. Expedited applications took as little as 2-3 weeks to push through the system in the past. Expedited applications now take up to 12 weeks to process. 

Delays at the U.S. Postal Service is to blame.
