This HAS to be one of the most beautiful “Brighter Side” stories we’ve seen in a long, long time.
A 79-year-old man went to beauty school recently. He’s 79, lives in Canada and prefers to remain anonymous. No, he doesn’t want to open a salon.
He and his wife have been married for 50 years, and because of declining vision, his wife had trouble fixing her hair. In fact, she would routinely burn herself when she tried to curl her hair with a curling iron. That’s when Anonymous reached out to Delmar College of Hair and Esthetics director Carrie Hannah.
“He started to explain that his wife was struggling with her vision right now, and was struggling to curl her own hair and was burning herself. He really wanted to help her. He just genuinely warmed everyone’s hearts. We really needed some cheering up, and he sure did it.” said Carrie.
After learning how to do her hair, he got some tips on applying mascara and taking care of her skin.
