Surf’s up on Lake Tahoe!
One witness who was on Lake Tahoe when the 6.0 Antelope Valley quake hit yesterday afternoon said that the shaker generated a wave big enough that, if you had a surfboard, “you might have caught a good wave”. They’re called roller waves.
The trams and lifts at Northstar were shut down out of safety concerns.
