Governor Newsom is asking Californians to cut their water use by 15%.
That’s really not as much as you might think. A Bay Area household uses about 206 gallons of water a day. A 15% cutback would mean that the average household would use about 30 fewer gallons a day.
That’s easier to achieve than you might think. For example, if you fixed a leaky toilet, you’d save, on average, 30 gallons a day!
