If you shower before bed, here’s something to avoid.
When done the right way, a shower before bedtime can help you relax, and eventually drift off. But experts caution against showering using water at the extreme ends of the temperature range. Too cold will keep you from falling asleep. Too hot will dry your skin, especially if you tend to take long showers.
Your best bet is a warm shower a couple of hours before you turn in.
