Because of the COVID resurgence, face masks are flying off the shelves, in many cases.
While there isn’t a shortage yet, medical experts are making recommendations on which masks are the best to use for protection and comfort.
Masks with replaceable filters are gaining in popularity.
If you can find them, the mask that combines effectiveness and comfort would be the N95. But those are becoming increasingly hard to find. KN95 masks are also comfortable and effective.
One health officer said that using at least a surgical or medical grade mask is your best bet.
