East Bay native Tom Hanks is selling his “home away from home”.
It’s the 1992 Airstream motor home he lived in while shooting many of his films. It’s custom built, 33 feet long, and will probably be auctioned off for between $150,000 and $200,000.
The two time Oscar winner has owned the Airstream for over 30 years, and lived in it while shooting about a dozen films, including Forrest Gump, Apollo 13 and The Green Mile. Take a look inside:
