Have you noticed some of your old favorites are returning to the store post-pandemic?
Smucker, for example, scaled back production on peanut butter varieties like Simply Jif, Reduced Fat and Omega 3. They also reduced production on their Smucker Uncrustables frozen sandwiches. They plan on bringing it all back again.
Progresso Soup is bringing back some of the products that they dropped during the pandemic. They’re going back to 90 different items from the pandemic total of 50.
Some companies are introducing completely NEW products. General Mills, for example, is introducing Trix and Cocoa Puff oatmeal cereal.
