San Pablo police officer Gilbert Troche was returning home from the movies with his family when he noticed a woman on the side of the road holding her baby. He jumped out of the car, took the baby in his arms, and did some back thrusts while the mom did a finger sweep of the baby’s airway.
After a couple of minutes the baby began coughing and breathing on its own. Paramedics showed up, and took the baby to the hospital, where the baby was in good condition.
