If you ride BART on a regular basis, you’re in for a price break for the month of September. You don’t need to ride BART that often. Occasional riders will get the same discount.
You can get a 50% BART discount if you use the Clipper app on your phone, or if you use a clipper card, which you can purchase at a BART vending machine. The 50% discount is in ADDITION to a discount you might already get....Youth or Senior, for example.
