An elementary school in the North Bay is limiting the time kids can spend eating lunch. The reason makes sense.
Kids attending the Mattie Washburn Elementary School in Windsor are allowing kids 14 minutes to eat their lunch.
But why 14 minutes? Strict California guidelines for quarantine kick in at 15 minutes, 14 minutes gives them one minutes to spare. Each child has an assigned seat, so they know who sits next to who. That will aid in contact tracing.
