To call Philippe Croizon an inspiration would be quite an understatement.
He participated in the 9,000 mile 2017 Dakar off-road rally, coming in 48th out of 317 racers, and swam the English Channel in less than 14 hours.
Philippe is a quadruple amputee. He lost his arms and legs because of severe electrical injury.
He was in San Francisco earlier this week, and he took time out to speak to a group of school students. He told them "Anything is possible if you have a dream in life, but know that there is a lot of work to get there”.
His next challenge is space travel. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is arranging for Philippe to do exactly that.
