Zara Rutherford wants to become the youngest woman to fly solo around the world. She wants to break the previous record set by 30 year old Shaesta Waiz in 2017.
Zara landed in Palo Alto Wednesday after a stop in Los Angeles. She took off from Belgium, her home country, on August 18th. After stops in Canada, and South America, she’s now exploring the Western United States.
She’ll take off from Palo Alto later today, and eventually arrive in Belgium by early November after having flown to over 52 countries in five continents in her two seater airplane.
