Destination weddings are back in a big, big way.
They used to be called “out of town” weddings. People have been waiting to have their pandemic-delayed weddings AND pandemic-delayed vacations. Why not combine them?
For example, Napa Valley’s Carneros Resort and Spa hosted 30 weddings in 2019. The Hawaii Four Seasons Hualalai resort is not only seeing an increase in wedding bookings, but the stays are getting longer. Some of their booked weddings are for seven-night stays so wedding attendees can spend more time together.
