It’s not your imagination. The days are getting shorter and shorter, as you would expect this time of year.
Sunrises in the Bay Area are happening later, and sunsets are occurring earlier. We’ll lose close to two hours of of daylight between now and December 1st
Here’s a sample of sunrise times, and daylight hours over the next few months:
October 1st
7:05 a.m.
11 hours, 46 minutes
November 1st
7:35 a.m.
10 hours, 35 minutes
December 1st
7:06 a.m.
9 hours, 44 minutes
We’ll return to Standard Time on November 7th.
