Engineers are going to try another solution to stop the Millenium Tower from tilting.
The tower, in downtown San Francisco, began sinking and leaning about five years ago. Now it’s leaning more than 22 inches toward Fremont Street, and 9 inches toward Mission Street.
Engineers came up with a plan to stop the sinking last summer. But that plan caused the structure to sink even more. But engineers have come up with yet another plan, and are conducting a soil test to see if the plan will work. The test will take about two days.
