After it was announced that Blackstone, Inc. purchased a majority stake Spanx, Spanx founder Sara Blakely decided share the wealth with her employees.
She bought each of her employees two first class tickets for travel anywhere in the world plus $10,000 in cash.
Ms. Blakely founded Spanx 21 years ago when she cut the feet off of her control top pantyhose to create something that smooth her midsection under her pants.
