first.

Apple has once again delayed the date for their employees to go back to the office, and the delay is indefinite. This was shared to Apple employees in an email from CEO Tim Cook earlier this week. They were supposed to go back to the office February first.

Apple is offering all their employees a $1000 allowance so they can buy equipment, and anything else they might need for their home offices.

In addition, Apple has reinstated a policy of requiring masks in all of their retail stores in the US. They’ve even decided to close some of their stores because of the COVID resurgence.

Amazon, Google & Lyft are also pushing back their dates for employees to return to the office. And many of them are also offering their employees $1000 to enhance their home offices.
