Income taxes will be due a couple of days later this year.
Emancipation Day falls on Saturday April 16th this year. Since that holiday is observed in Washington DC on Friday the 15th, your taxes won’t be due until Monday April 18th.
You might remember the tax deadline last year was delayed until May 17th because of the pandemic.
