There’s an online petition to move the Big Game from Sunday to Saturday.
The petition was started by Frank Ruggeri, 18, of Palm Bay Florida. Ruggeri sites that on the Monday after the Big Game 17.2 million people miss work, causing 44 billion dollars in lost productivity.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says that the TV audience is much larger on Sunday which translates into increased advertising revenue.
This year’s Big Game takes place on Sunday February 13th at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
