Her name is Ankita Tandel, and she’s been named the 49ers Fan of the Year.
You’ll see her cheering on the 49ers wherever they might be playing, be it Green Bay or Los Angeles.
She’s quite busy because, in addition to rooting for the Niners, she also happens to be the immunization manager for San Mateo County. Under her leadership the county vaccination clinic went from serving 200 people a day to four thousand.
A few months ago she underwent surgery to remove a Pituitary tumor, and she’s fully recovered.
She and her husband Sunil will be attending the Big Game next month, courtesy of the 49ers. Each NFL team selects a Fan of the Year.
