A new Apple iPhone software update will allow users to unlock their phone, using facial recognition software, despite the fact that the user may be wearing a COVID mask.
The new software update will use only the top portion of the user’s face to unlock their phone.
The new feature will be available only on iPhone 12s or newer, and Apple is allowing people to opt-in or out of its’ use.
