Stephen Curry has added “children’s book author” to his resume. “I Have a Superpower” is set to come out this fall, courtesy of Penguin Workshop.
The book – the first project from the publishing arm of Steph’s Unanimous Media – teaches kids to persevere, even if they’re not future NBA stars. “With this story, we wanted to create something that inspired young readers to believe in their passion and centered on the message that you don't have to be the strongest, fastest or tallest kid in the world in order to succeed,” he noted. “Children truly are our future, and it is my hope that this special book empowers the next generation and reminds them to keep dreaming big.”
And that’s not all. Unanimous Publishing is teaming up with Penguin Workshop to release Steph’s second picture book in the fall of 2023. They’re also launching a graphic novel program for seven-to-10-year-old readers “that celebrates the brightest and best stars of the sports world,” according to the press release.
