AAA reveals that most Americans will follow through on their vacation plans despite high gas prices. Here are a few ideas on how you can cut back on gas consumption:
Make sure your tires are properly inflated.
If your car doesn’t require premium gas, stick with regular & save a lot of money.
Use express lanes, when possible to avoid stop & go driving.
Consolidate your errands, and map out your trip(s) ahead of time.
Gas economy peaks at 50 MPH, so dropping speeds by 5 to 10 MPH can boost fuel economy by 14%.
