Here’s great news for high school parents and their parents.
California State Universities will no longer require SAT or ACT tests for undergraduate admission consideration.
The policy was first implemented during the pandemic academic years of 2021-22 and 2022-23 on a temporary basis. Earlier this week the university’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to make the policy permanent.
A year ago, an admission review determined that the tests added very little to the admission process, BUT added unnecessary stress to the application process.
