LaQuedra Edwards stopped by a Vons in Tarzana to pick up a couple of California Lottery scratcher tickets.
She put 40 dollars in a scratcher vending machine. Just as she was about to make her ticket selection, another person bumped into her causing her to choose the “wrong” scratcher. It was a 30 dollar ticket!
She went back to her car and began scratching the ticket, and she couldn’t believe her eyes. She won the game’s top prize….$10 million! She couldn’t believe it, so she scanned the ticket with her lottery app. Sure enough, she won the 10 million.
LaQuedra plans to buy a house, and start a nonprofit. The store where she bought the ticket gets a $50,000 bonus.
