This allergy season has been especially hard on lots of people.
But did you know pets can suffer from seasonal allergies as well? Some symptoms you might see with your cat or dog…itchy face, itchy feet, and itchy ears. And possibly more frequent skin & ear infections.
Animals are affected by allergens landing on their skin, not necessarily inhaled through their noses. The best way to protect your pet during allergy season is to avoid going outside early in the morning and late in the afternoon when pollen is at its peak
If you suspect that your pet has allergies, your vet may suggest an over-the-counter antihistamine.
