The CHP was really busy on the San Mateo Bridge last Thursday
In ONE day they issued tickets to 69 drivers on the bridge. The CHP is making an effort to crack down on road rage, drunk driving, and speeding.
Of the 69 tickets issued, 29 were for speeding, and two of those were for driving over 100 MPH. Two people were cited for impaired driving. The remainder were for distracted driving.
